THE CHARACTERISTIC FEATURES AND CLASSIFICATION OF GINKGO LEAF BLIGHT PATHOGENS

Abstract: According to the results obtained from morphological observation, micrometry and cultural experiments, ginkgo leaf blight is caused by three different parasitic fungi, which are named Alternaria alternata, Glomerella cingulata and Pestalotia ginkgo. Though it is known that Alternaria is often to attack a variety of trees, a leaf blight disease is often to attack a variety of trees, a leaf blight disease of Ginkgo caused byAlternaria alterncta is hitherto not reported.
