Abstract: As the global ecosystem degenerates rapidly, biodiversity is facing a great threat. The bad effect made by the shrinking and losing of genetic diversity will be long and deep. In a long-term tree breeding program, first we will have to pay attention to the conservation of genetic diversity and full utilization of the genetic resources existing now.
