Abstract

The paper discusses the differences of main forest types about soil physical properties such as soil mechanic component, porosity, volume weight, water holding capability of litter and shrub and tree canopy by way of four levels on forest interception about waterfall.Based on the principles of system and water balance, the differences of water holding function on main forest types are evaluated by Grey relational analysis. The result shows that the best water holding function of forest in Anji region is broadleaved forest and bamboo forest, and the delicated one is shrubbery.
