Abstract: The pollen viability of Tilia miqueliana under different storage conditions was evaluated using TTC (2,3,5-triphenyl tetrazolium chloride) testing. The results showed that the pollen longevity of T.miqueliana was relatively short, the critical moisture content was 8.99%. The pollen viability decreased from 75% to 56% stored at -25℃ after eight days, and was only 25% after 180d. In addition, the fresh pollen with 9.55% moisture content could be stored at -18℃ directly without drying.
