Abstract: Lepidoptera species for different vegetation types, its population density, distribution and occurrence at Zijinshan Mountain area were investigated. According to integrated information of dominant species, the history of the region endanger species and Jiangsu province, the method of multicriteria evaluation of pests was used to do the risk analysis. Six fields with 16 risk factors, i.e., the distribution area of pest, harmful levels, the economic importance of endangered plants, biological characteristics, ecological characteristics, the difficulty of prevention and control and effects of natural enemies were considered in the risk analysis. The analysis results showed that all kinds of Lepidoptera pests were harmful. Four levels of 52 species of insects were identified. Among these insects, six species of them need to be prevented and controlled significantly, and 10 of them needs to be paid more attention.
