Abstract: According to the it ecological charaters, Paulownia likes temperate climate, humidity and has no resistance to salt. From 1985?986, we used the root-cutting and whole root to test woods on saline soil covered with plastic film. The result showed that the temperature and humidness could be raised and the soil salinity could be reduced. Because of these, significance of the survival rate of plantation, the hight and the diameter increment could be reached. We also get the economical and effective area covered with plastic film for Paulownia’s planting.
