Abstract: 28 10bp random primers are selected for random amplification in 5 Dianthus chinensis L.,2 Dianthus caryophyllus L.,8 standard cut flowers and 17 spray cut flowers of D.caryophyllus L.242 polymorphism bands are acquired.The result of cluster analysis(the Single method) indicates that the RAPD technique can distinguish the relationship between species well.It can divide 32 samples into two groups:D.chinensis L.and D.caryophyllus L.,it also can differentiate the wild and culture species of D.chinensis L.,and the pot and cut flowers of D.caryophyllus L.Moreover,it also can divide the standard and spray cut flowers of D.caryophyllus L.
