Utilization of predictive fuzzy PID controller in variable air volume air-conditioned system of plant laboratory

Abstract: In order to do plant growth experiments and investigations under artificial environment with controlled conditions,culture environment of artificial intelligent control is essential condition. Commercial sale of plant growth culture box has the advantages of small volume, but it cannot meet the experimental requirements of woody plants. Thus, it should be designed individually dependent on customized user requirements. Due to its non-standard, large volume and the requirements of accurate control of the temperature, humidity, light, light quality and light cycle of growth in plant growth laboratory, automatic control system is crucial. This paper reports the principle of fuzzy control to achieve on-line automatic control of the main controller 3 PID parameters. Then, through the Smith Deputy controller the system inertia and delay are effectively eliminated. And the controller is applied to plant laboratory of VAV air conditioning system in practical application. The mathematical model of the control of VAV air conditioning system is set up. Then Matlab/Simulink software of VAV air conditioning system is used to simulate the temperature control loop.The simulation results demonstrate that the controller can solve the lag, regulating time and overshoot the shortcomings of traditional PID control in VAV air conditioning.
