Abstract: The normal piezoelectricity in wood was observed in experiments. The piezoellectric moduli d14 and d25 of five wood species were determined by means of the converse piezoelectric effect, and the results obtained from these measurements show that the values of piezoeleetric moduli d14 and d25 of the same wood species are nearly equal.
