Abstract: The author observed feeding behaviors, mating, oviposition, gnawing incision of Apriona germari adults by indoors rearing. Results showed that these adults tried to feed on 2 to 5 parts of one branch of Broussonetia papyrifera, and then chose one to continue feeding. Females ingest more food than males in a day. Adults’ mating behaviors is comprised of several stages such as courtship, precopulatory mounting, mating, postcoital separate. Ovipositing incision of adults was a whole process that could be divided into four phases such as site selection, incision, ovipositing, seal. The fastigium of adults’ feeding was from 6:00 to 8:00am, and the second peak appeared from 12:00 to 14:00 pm. The feeding weight of the two above-stages occupied half of whole feeding weight in one day. Male adults’ courtship could last 78-148 s, average 119.56 s. Mating could last 312-605 s, average 445.62 s. Gnawing incision and oviposition of female could last 15-25 min and 3-5 min, respectively. The time of maximum oviposition was from 20:00-22:00 pm. And the quantity of maximum oviposition could account for a third of total oviposition amount in a day. The quantity of oviposition decreased as time passing. Females’ oviposition behavior could sustain for one month at least.
